Hayward presenta frutti di forma regolare, allungata e arrotondata all’apice. The Pomegranate tree (Punica granatum) belongs to the Punicaceae family. It is a 4-5 m high, bushy, deciduous shrub.
The trunk of the pomegranate plant is very gnarled and branched with thorny branches. The bright green leaves are small, opposite and entire.
