EN-The plant of Alocasia (Elephant Ears) is an evergreen house plant native to tropical areas. It possesses beautiful large, oval, wing-shaped leaves that can be up to 90 cm long, which when shaken by the wind resemble elephant ears, shiny light green in colour, with wavy margins. Fairly fast-growing plant, easy to keep in the house or on the veranda compared to the banana tree or other tropical plants, among other things, it produces leaves very quickly, yellowing the old ones, the important thing is that the temperature is above 8 degrees in winter and that it is away from cold and dry heat sources. The leaves sometimes show slight aesthetic damage, as they are very delicate leaves, but they do not affect the health of the plant.
