L’Alocasia Sanderiana è una pianta sempreverde e rizomatosa originaria delle zone temperate del Sud-Est asiatico. Le sue foglie di un verde scuro tendente al nero sono caratterizzata da venature molto chiare che creano un bellissimo contrasto di colori. Ciò che colpisce è la particolare forma delle sue foglie robuste e zigrinate.
Pianta abbastanza resistente a sbalzi termici, purchè si rimanga sopra i 3 gradi centigradi come temperature minime, ottima per essere collocata in uffici o spazi non molto grandi.
