The fig tree 'Columbro Nero or Colummaro Nero' is an ancient tree with medium-sized fruit, blue-black skin and sweet flesh. The blooms ripen at the end of June, the real figs are harvested around 15-20 August.
The fruits are excellent when eaten fresh, also dried, used to prepare jellies and jams, and are ideal to accompany savoury dishes because they do not cover the taste of ham, bacon and salami.

Excellent quality of Pear tree, one of the most famous, adapts to cold winter climates and fairly warm climates, needs irrigation the first 2 years, it is necessary to associate this plant with a pollinator Pear tree, among the choices are: 'Sangiovanni' ‘Butirra Hardy', 'Decana del comizio', 'Passa Crassana', 'Kaiser'.
Plant description: height 140-170 cm 2.5 years old, pot 24, the dimensions are the same for all 4 varieties, obviously buying them in winter they are leafless (which is the best time to plant fruit trees) VARIETY: KAKO CHOCOLATE Oval shaped fruit, slightly pointed towards the apex, medium size and yellow-orange in colour, tending to bronze when ripe, between October and November. Not too sweet flesh with a deep red colour, loved for being less dirty than other varieties, and the robustness of the fruit to the weather. KAKO VAINIGLIA KAKO APPLE KAKO TYPE PLANTING: The kaki loves sunny locations, very draining soil because in case of water stagnation the roots could stop growing, so make a hole 60 cm deep and 50-50 cm wide, work the soil well so that it is loose and comfortable. NB: 'REAL PHOTO' MEANS A PHOTO ACTUALLY TAKEN IN THE NURSERY; SIZE COLOUR AND HEIGHT MAY VARY SLIGHTLY DEPENDING ON THE SEASON OF PURCHASE. |
Mulberry Tree ( Morus Alba) Flowering, in April-May, is given by flowers unisexual in the white (monoecious species) and both unisexual and hermaphroditic in the black, however insignificant, so that the event goes unnoticed. The fruits ripen from May to July on the white mulberry and visually resemble blackberries, and are white-yellow in colour with a distinctly sweetish flavour with a hint of sourness; very rich in natural sugars, it can be used as a natural sweetener instead of refined sugar.
NB the resistance of the 3 colours is the same, but the fastest growing is white, about twice as fast as the other 2, black is slightly faster than red
Advice:
The Mulberry Tree adapts to any environment, and to any type of soil, clayey, stony, poor or sloping, with the interesting side-effect of curbing soil erosion and blocking landslide movements. It prefers a position sunny or in half-shade, but lives equally well in the shade (will produce less fruit). does not need much watering.
Note: The appearance of the plant published in the photo may be slightly different from the plant that is shipped to you, both because of seasonality (presence/absence of leaves) and because in the plant world each specimen is obviously unique. Furthermore, for reasons of bulk and packaging, plants may be pruned before shipping.

Probable mutation originating in Calabria, in the locality of Diamante (CS), from which the name is derived.
It is the most widespread citron cultivar in southern Italy.
Small, open-formed, expansive plant with moderately upright, dense, very spindly branches.
Has large, oblong leaves. Purple-red shoots and flowers, mainly arranged in clusters. The large, elongated ovate-ellipsoid shaped fruit has an apex with a wide umbo. Its peel, lemon-yellow when ripe, thick, smooth and ribbed, is used for the production of candied fruit. The pulp is scanty, almost dry, with an acid lemon-like flavour.
It has dark green leaves above, rust red below. Creamy-white flowers are fragrant and are present throughout autumn. Fruits are ovoid, with pale yellow or orange skin, and ripen in spring. Generally prefers warm, sunny exposures. Harvest start: May, the period may vary depending on the environment, NB in winter it tends to lose some leaves, in cold climates it sheds completely It does not need special care, very hardy, first year it needs constant irrigation in summer

The Pomegranate tree (Punica granatum) belongs to the Punicaceae family. It is a 4-5 m high, bushy, deciduous shrub.
The trunk of the pomegranate plant is very gnarled and branched with thorny branches. The bright green leaves are small, opposite and entire.
The orange-red flowers are very beautiful and showy. Flowering can take place from the beginning of June to mid-July.
The round fruit of the pomegranate is a fleshy berry (balausta) with a thick skin and containing fleshy, prism-shaped grains (arils) with a pulpy head and woody integument, which are very juicy and taste sweet or sour depending on the variety.
