Plant description: height 140-170 cm 2.5 years old, pot 24, the dimensions are the same for all 4 varieties, obviously buying them in winter they are leafless (which is the best time to plant fruit trees)
VARIETY:
KAKO CHOCOLATE
Oval shaped fruit, slightly pointed towards the apex, medium size and yellow-orange in colour, tending to bronze when ripe, between October and November. Not too sweet flesh with a deep red colour, loved for being less dirty than other varieties, and the robustness of the fruit to the weather.
KAKO VAINIGLIA
Neapolitan persimmon, one of the first fruit plants cultivated by man. Rounded, slightly flattened fruit, yellow-orange to reddish when ripe, in October and November. Very sweet dark bronze flesh.
KAKO APPLE
Slightly flattened, square-shaped fruits like apples, ripe in November, can be eaten freshly picked even when hard, slicing them with a knife as apples are sliced. Crunchy flesh with a sweet taste.
KAKO TYPE
Small, elongated fruit with orange skin, sweet-tasting flesh and brown veins, ripe in October.
PLANTING:
The kaki loves sunny locations, very draining soil because in case of water stagnation the roots could stop growing, so make a hole 60 cm deep and 50-50 cm wide, work the soil well so that it is loose and comfortable.
