Senecio Rowleyanus or Rosary Plant is a succulent from South Africa and belongs to the Asteraceae family.
Evergreen plant with a drooping habit, composed of numerous branches that can grow up to 80 centimetres, endowed with spherical, light green leaves, from which it takes its name rosary. It blooms in late summer when stems covered in light down appear between the leaves, at the ends of which are small white flowers.
Appreciated as an ornamental plant for both flat and office interiors with mild temperatures which should not fall below 7-10 degrees, prefers exposure in bright areas avoiding direct sunlight but also adapting to shady places. The ideal soil is typical for succulent plants with excellent drainage while watering should take place when the substrate is completely dry.
